In addition to local conferences on the SBU Campus, there are many opportunities to
share your work on the regional, national, and international stage.
Regional: Consider presenting at SUNY SURC! The SUNY Undergraduate Research Conference
(SURC) is held annually in the spring at SUNY institutions to bring together multidisciplinary
undergraduate presentations (including poster session, oral presentation, performance,
art show).

This year SURC Will be held: Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at SUNY Fredonia and on Friday,
April 24, 2026 at SUNY Upstate Medical University
National/International: These professional meetings and conferences gather audiences
from across the country or internationally including scientists, clinicians, and professionals.
Ask your faculty mentor for suggestions of where to present! Apply for mini-grant
support!
SB students have recently presented nationally at ABRCMS, the American Association
of Immunologists (AAI) Annual Meeting, American Chemical Society meetings, APS Global
Physics Summit, The National Collegiate Research Conference (NCRC), the Society For
Neuroscience and the international iGEM conference in Paris - with URECA support!
