2026 Social Justice Summer Grants Roundtable

Join CCSP for a roundtable featuring 2026 summer grantees. Students will share their research, creative work, and community-based projects, and reflect on what they learned, the impact of their work, and what comes next.

  • Julian Maceren (PhD student, Chemistry) - "Towards a Waste-Free Community: Quantifying Waste Production at Stony Brook University to Establish a Zero-Waste Plan"
  • Megan Knighton (PhD student, History) - "Disentangling Stories of Violence and Mental Illness through Oral History"
  • Neha Yalamanchi (Undergraduate student, major in Biology & minor in Health, Medicine, and Society) - "Home After Stroke on Long Island: A Community-Based Stroke Recovery Resource"
  • Angelina Goura Mancini (Undergraduate student, double major in Africana Studies and Anthropology) - "Death by Incarceration"
