RESIDENT ASSISTANT
Resident Assistants (RA) are an integral part of Campus Residences. Students who serve as RAs have the opportunity to develop their leadership skills, build strong connections with other students, and promote diversity and inclusion in their area. Both Undergraduate and Graduate Students can serve as RAs in the Residence Hall and Apartment Areas.
SUMMER HOUSING ASSISTANT
The Summer Housing Assistant (SHA) is the front-line customer service and risk management support role in a residence hall community housing professional, academic, and athletic conferences. They will coordinate the guest registration process (including space preparation and assessment); assist guests with facilities and other related housing concerns; and serve as general University ambassadors, providing information about the University and surrounding communities to our housing guests.

MARKETING ASSISTANT
As a Per Diem Marketing Assistant for Campus Residences, you'll create photography, video, and graphic design content that supports more than 10,500 residential students. You'll collaborate with the Campus Residences Marketing team and Housing Administration leadership on a variety of marketing projects.
This position may lead to a role with more consistent hours in the summer or fall. Students who only plan to live on campus during the summer are also welcome to apply.

OFFICE ASSISTANT
Students have the opportunity to serve as an Office Assistant across various areas within Campus Residences. Every Area has Office Assistants at their area office to assist with daily office tasks. This is a great opportunity for students to develop skills and make connections with others in the department.

RESIDENTIAL COMPUTING CENTERS
Interested in working at one of the Residential Computing Centers? Campus Residences IT hosts hiring events at the start of both fall and spring semesters. Check out opportunities on Handshake or in person at the fall and spring job fairs.
RESIDENTIAL SAFETY PROGRAM
At the beginning of the Fall and Spring semesters, RSP hosts hiring events, and applicants can apply through Handshake. Positions are filled on a rolling basis as openings become available. Please do not send unsolicited resumes.
RSP employs both Field Workers and Early Staff, who patrol residential areas, identify and report safety concerns, respond to walk requests, and assist with emergencies alongside UPD, the Fire Marshal, SBVAC, and other residential staff. Coverage extends through overnight hours to help ensure campus safety. RSP staff also support major campus events such as move-in, Midnight Breakfast, and Commencement.

RESIDENTIAL TUTORING CENTER
Tutors help peers to succeed academically. They conduct tutoring sessions to clarify course content and provide study strategies. They are selected based on academic skills, character, and the ability to communicate well with others.
GRADUATE STUDENT EMPLOYMENT
There are a variety of options available for graduate students to find employment in Campus Residences. Students can work in a variety of roles within the department (assist with staff development and training, work with our Residential Tutoring Center, support Resident Assistant staff, etc.). All of these positions help students learn about the field of higher education and develop transferable skills for entering the workforce after graduate school.
