          Meal Plans

Can I request changes to my meal plan?

Yes. Downgrades can be made during the two weeks following the first day Monday-Friday classes begin. Upgrades can be made anytime throughout the semester. Please note that during the first 2 weeks of the semester, downgrade requests made Saturday through Thursday will take effect the following Friday.

The credit will be posted to your Student Account (able to be viewed in SOLAR under Student Financial Services).

How do I sign up for a meal plan?

Resident students may sign up for a meal plan through room selection. Commuter and apartment students may sign up for a fall meal plan using the link below.

How do I check my meal plan balance?

You may check your meal plan balance with GET Mobile at get.cbord.com/sbu or by downloading the mobile app for Android or iPhone. Log in using your NET ID and NET Password to manage your meal plan account.

  • Request funds

          Student Health Insurance

How do I complete a health insurance waiver?

Waiver requests information for domestic students can be found on the Domestic Student Health Insurance Plan page.

Waiver request information for international students can be found on the International Student Health Insurance Plan page.

 

If I have been billed for the student health insurance plan, how do I receive my insurance card?

You will receive an email from notifications@uhcsr.com that an insurance card is available for you. To view, download, or request a hard copy of your insurance card, please visit the UnitedHealthcare website.

 

If I have questions about the student health insurance plan, who should I contact?

          Locker Rentals and Additional Services

Where are the lockers located?

Lockers are conveniently located in the Melville Library Student Lounge and in the lower level of the Student Activities Center.

 

How do I rent or renew a locker?

Lockers may be rented or renewed on the Auxiliary Services Association website.
