Master's Degree and Certificate Programs
With a variety of formats and scheduling options to choose from, this program meets students where they're at to provide a feasible path toward career advancement. The curriculum encompasses key learning objectives in student affairs, academic programming and institutional leadership, enabling graduates to achieve their career goals while making meaningful contributions to the higher education industry.
Choose Your Program:
Part-Time Master's: Flexible program designed for working professionals. Students choose from our 100% online or our traditional program, which combines online and on-campus courses.
Full-Time Master's: Traditional on-campus cohort program designed for emerging professionals who want to learn and work on campus.
Advanced Graduate Certificate: 18-credit program offers a fast path to a focused, flexible credential.
Flexible Scheduling Options
Fully Online
- Asynchronous courses offer optimal scheduling flexibility.
- 10-week terms offered in the Fall, Spring and Summer.
- Optional 3-week Winter term available.
- Students enrolled in the fully online program are not eligible to enroll in on-campus courses without prior permission.
Traditional (Hybrid)
- In-person courses are scheduled for 14 weeks during the Fall and Spring terms.
- Online courses are scheduled in 10-week terms three times per year (Fall, Spring and Summer).
- Optional 3-week Winter term available.
- Students can choose to take online courses as desired.
In-Person Cohort
- Full-time program in which students take all of their foundational courses together.
- Students enroll in the Fall and Spring terms only.
- Two practicum courses are required.
- Students can choose on-campus or online electives scheduled in the Fall and Spring.
Chart Your Own Path
Our comprehensive curriculum combines foundational courses with a wide selection of electives.

Core Courses
Learn the foundations of higher ed, student affairs, leadership and assessment. Master's students also complete a diversity course and finish with a capstone research course.

Electives
Dive deeper into your areas of interest. Master's students choose up to six courses, and certificate students can select two.

Practicum Experiences
Apply your knowledge and skills while gaining valuable firsthand experience. Optional for part-time students, required for full-time students, and not available to certificate students.
