Port Jeff Shuttle
Get off campus and explore some of the best parts of Long Island by using The Port Jefferson/SBU shuttle! This free of charge service for students with a valid SBUID provides a continuous service loop between the Village of Port Jefferson and Stony Brook University every week. The shuttle bus operates on Fridays from 3:00pm to 11:15pm and Saturdays from 12:00pm to 7:15pm, making stops at the Stony Brook Student Activities Center loop, the Chapin Community Apartments bus stop, Stop and Shop in East Setauket, and the Port Jefferson Village Center. Check out the Walter J. Hawrys Recreation Center! They have state-of-the-art cardio and weightlifting machines, an indoor track, a three-court gymnasium and a wide array of group fitness classes. Love Music and the Arts?
If you are looking for a night of entertainment, The Staller Center for the Arts has
an amazing lineup of shows for everyone to enjoy. Students can see their first show
for free and all following student tickets are only $10! The Spring 2025 season tickets
are now on sale and they include a diverse array of country, comedy, pop and classical
artists as well as dance and kids shows that are fun for the entire family! For more
