Mission

The Stony Brook University Office of Student Life for the Health Sciences Center is dedicated to enriching the educational journey of students across the School of Dental Medicine, School of Health Professions, School of Medicine, School of Nursing, and the School of Social Welfare by providing essential resources, programs and support tailored to the needs of our students. We are committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes personal growth, academic success, and professional development. Through our comprehensive programs and resources, we empower students, enhance their educational experience, and cultivate a community grounded in collaboration and excellence in health education.

Cross-Disciplinary

Strengthen partnerships among the schools of Health Professions, Medicine, Dental Medicine, Nursing, and Social Welfare to encourage cross-disciplinary learning, sharing best practices and professional development, outside of the classroom.

Opportunities

Provide opportunities for students to explore their strengths and talents, cultivate leadership skills, attend professional conferences and engage meaningfully in campus and community initiatives.
