Next Steps: Targets and Implementation Planning
In the coming months, continued engagement across our university will shape the development of Stony Brook’s top targets—the aspirational, measurable outcomes at the highest level that define what success looks like as we move toward 2035. These targets will reflect our ambitions while remaining grounded in data, feasibility, and our institutional capacity. They will serve as the measure of whether ASPIRE 2035 is delivering the transformational impact we envision.
Additionally, an implementation plan will accompany ASPIRE 2035 to provide more information about how the tactics will be executed. This will include timelines, key milestones, and designated owners and stakeholders responsible for driving progress on each initiative.
