Robert Clasen Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Robert Clasen, a practicing attorney who graduated from Stony Brook University in 1980 with a BA in Political Science. Mr. Clasen generously established the fund in appreciation of the education he received at Stony Brook and to provide scholarship support for deserving students with financial need.

Scholarship Criteria:

1. All class standings eligible (U1-U4).
2. Minimum GPA of 3.00 for SBU coursework.
3. Major in Political Science.
4. Full-time matriculation.
5. Demonstrate financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarship Services.
6. Demonstrate potential and promise in the subject matter, as evidenced by a reference and personal statement.

Recipient must maintain criteria for scholarship eligibility.
