Biography:
Gang Wang has been a staff scientist in the Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) since 2010. Prior to that he was a postdoctoral associate in the BNL. He obtained his PhD at the Stony Brook University (SBU) in 2008. He has been an adjunct faculty at SBU since 2015.

Research Statement:
Gang Wang works as an accelerator physicist at the collider-accelerator department (C-AD) in BNL. His main interests are beam cooling and collective effects in the accelerators. He is currently working on the demonstration experiment of the Coherent electron Cooling (CeC) and the collective effects in the Electron-ion Collider (EIC).
