Biography

Professor Pochron studies the impact of Roundup, its active ingredients and its major metabolites on soil invertebrates (earthworms, cockroaches, microbes) and on freshwater invertebrates (planaria). She also studies the impact of microplastics on those soil and freshwater systems. Her lab relies on undergraduate students who, under her mentorship, design and execute research projects in environmental science.
