Biography
John Rizzo is a health economist whose research interests include applied microeconomic studies of physician and pharmaceutical markets, the application of econometric methods to clinical outcomes research, and pharmacoeconomic evaluations of medical treatments and technologies. He consults for leading healthcare and government organizations, and has testified as an economics expert in cases involving the pharmaceutical and hospital industries. He also is the chief economist of the Long Island Association, the region's largest business group.
