Biography
Elizabeth Hewitt is an urban planner and social scientist, and her work rests at the intersection of technology and policy to explore human processes that impact energy and resilience in buildings and cities. She is the Director of the Waste Data and Analysis Center, and her research has received over $10 million in external funding across federal, state, and foundation sources. She conducts research on waste and recycling, occupant behavior in buildings; decision making for resilience; and organizational culture for energy and resilience.
