Biography

Dr. Singer is an internationally recognized leader in emergency medicine and wound healing, with over 500 publications and millions of dollars in federal and industry research funding. Dr. Singer has numerous publications in high impact journals including the New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA and Lancet.  His research focuses on cutaneous wound healing, burns, tissue adhesives, point-of-care testing, pain management, and cardiovascular disease.  He has served in multiple roles in the Society of Academic Emergency Medicine, the American College of Emergency Medicine, the American Heart Association, and the American Burn Association.  He is also the founding and current Editor in Chief of the journal Clinical and Experimental Emergency Medicine.
