Biography
Prior to joining Stony Brook University, William Stewart was a postdoctoral researcher at the Laboratory of Intelligent Systems (lis.epfl.ch) at EPFL in Switzerland. He was awarded the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. (2018) from North Carolina (NC) State University in Raleigh. During his time at NC State, he was a two-time AUVSI Student UAS competition champion (2010 and 2014). His areas of expertise include aeronautics, mechanics, and robot design.
