Biography

Robert P. Crease is a Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Stony Brook University. He has written/translated/edited nearly twenty books in history and philosophy of science, with over 75 reviews, editorials, and other short pieces on philosophy, history, and science for academic journals and The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Nature, and Newsday, and other venues.  For 26 years he has written a column, "Critical Point," on the historical and philosophical dimensions of science for Physics World.
