Biography
Minghao Qiu studies how climate change influences air quality and human health and how policies can help address the negative impacts of air pollution and extreme weather. His recent work evaluates how extreme weather, such as wildfire, drought, and heat waves influences the air quality and public health, and their linkages to climate change. His works combine atmospheric and climate modeling, statistical and AI models, and environmental health. His work is published in high-impact journals such as Nature, PNAS, Science Advances, and is featured in media outlets including the New York Times, Bloomberg, the Atlantic etc.
