Biography

Eric Josephs’s research focuses include engineering molecular biotechnologies to make gene therapies safer, more effective, and less expensive; understanding molecular mechanisms of genetic mutation and DNA repair; and synthetic biology. Prior to joining Stony Brook University, he was a faculty member in the Department of Nanoscience at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering (JSNN).
