Biography

Dr. Sasson is a surgical oncologist specializing in the treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies. He has a special interest in pancreatic cancers, with focus on early detection, screening, surgical management, and adjuvant therapy. His surgical experience with upper gastrointestinal disease includes both traditional open techniques as well as more advanced minimally invasive approaches. His research interests include the utilization of blood tests to help detect pancreatic cancer early, ways to stratify risk for pancreatic cystic lesions, and development of a screening program for pancreatic cancer.
