Shyam Sharma is a scholar and teacher of writing and rhetoric who studies academic writing and communication at the intersection of the arts and sciences. His books include: Writing Support for International Graduate Students, Rethinking Education Across Borders, Rethinking Education Across Borders and How to Write and Publish Effectively: Writing Support Group Guideline. He has written about how U.S. universities are facilitating the academic transition and success of international graduate students.
