Richard Chan’s research is broadly situated at the intersection of psychology and entrepreneurship. Specifically, he investigates how investors’ cognitive processes, shaped by individual differences and altered by social and ambient environments, influence the evaluation of entrepreneurial opportunities and financing decisions.
