Biography

Jonathan Anzalone’s expertise is in news literacy, writing, and history. He’s presented his research at conferences hosted by the American Historical Association (AHA), the Boston Environmental History Seminar, the American Society for Environmental History (ASEH), the Yale University Working Group on Global Environmental History, and the New York State Historical Association (NYSHA). He is currently working on a book based on his dissertation: “Creating a Modern Wilderness Playground: The Transformation of the Adirondack State Park, 1920 - 1980" which will be published by the University of Massachusetts Press.
