Biography

Iris Fineberg’s career has focused on improving care for seriously ill and dying people, and those who care about them. She has received recognition for her seminal family conferencing research and interdisciplinary palliative care education development. She has contributed to professional practice and education through publications in the Oxford Textbook of Palliative Social Work, the Handbook of Oncology Social Work, the Living with Dying Handbook, palliative care journals, and numerous national and international conference presentations.
