Biography

Allen Tannenbaum’s fields of interest include cancer research, medical imaging, computational computer vision, image processing, robust control, mathematical systems theory, bioinformatics, semiconductor fabrication processes, and robotics. His work in computer vision has earned him numerous awards, and he holds four patents in medical imaging and computer vision Recently, he has developed mathematical formulas to understand and quantify the ability of cancer cells to adapt and develop resistance to assist in the treatment of cancer.
