LGBTQ* Center

We strive to create a welcoming, supportive and inclusive campus where students are able and encouraged to bring their entire selves to the table. At 1,967 square-feet, the LGBTQ* Center  includes a multipurpose lounge, a fully functional collaborative learning area  featuring state of the art technology for students to utilize, and a spacious conference workroom. The Center is open for all members of the Stony Brook community to come and relax, meet up with friends, study, and engage in a wide range of discussions. 

Esports Room

Stony Brook Esports teams offer a unique and exciting opportunity for students to compete in video game competitions at the collegiate level. Our program is designed to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for gamers to develop their skills and pursue their passion for Esports. The Esports room in particular helps support our upcoming stars with the latest gaming technologies for hyper-competitive experiences. The room also offers whiteboards, projects, and furniture for the pre-match preparations and the post-match analysis.

Stony Brook Union COLA Lounge / Lobby

The Campus Life Centers offers a variety of event spaces to suit all of your programming needs. We offer spaces that can fit any size gathering from small workshop and networking events to full conference needs. 

Military and Veteran Student Lounge

We have many ways students veterans can get connected on campus. Stony Brook University student veterans have ID card access to the Student Veteran Lounge and workspace, located on the 2nd floor of the Student Activities Center. The lounge is furnished with a kitchenette, personal lockers, TV and desktop computers, allowing student veterans to relax, study and socialize in the comfort and convenience of this fully equipped lounge located in the heart of campus.

Student Health and Counseling Center

The Student Health and Counseling Center provides counseling services and assure your health and happiness. Feel free to relax in the Student Health and Counseling Center with its variety of comfortable seating.

Career Center Studio

Our new Career Center Studio is a dynamic hub designed to empower students and alumni in their career journeys. Equipped with modern amenities and flexible workspaces, this innovative environment fosters collaboration, creativity, and professional development.
