Safety Warden Program (Office of Emergency Management)

The Safety Warden Program, coordinated by The Office of Emergency Management in cooperation with Building Managers,  Environmental Health & Safety, Fire Marshals, and  University Police Officers, is part of a comprehensive Emergency Management effort that addresses the safety and security concerns of the Stony Brook campus during an emergency.

Environmental Health & Safety Training

EH&S provides training on a wide-range of safety, health and environmental topics, including laboratory safety, hazardous waste, radiation safety, personal protective equipment (PPE), and other occupational and general safety topics. Many of these courses are required, either initially or annually, by federal or State safety and environmental regulations.
