The G/P/NC, Section/Credit Change, and Withdrawal Deadline for West Campus undergraduates
has beenEXTENDEDto Friday, April 3 at 4 p.m. EST.

 

Advanced registration for Fall 2020 will still begin on Monday, April 6, with enrollment appointments based upon seniority of cumulative credits. Please register as soon as your enrollment appointment begins, but no later than April 27, so that you can make timely progress toward graduation. 

Key dates and reminders. Please refer to the Office of the Registrar Academic Calendars 
for official dates and deadlines.

  • March 23 - Major/Minor changes begin. Students may begin to submit major/minor changes effective Fall 2020.
  • March 30 - Fall class schedules are available on SOLAR. You can also view the starting date/time of your enrollment appointment on SOLAR. You may begin to submit major/minor changes effective for Fall 2020. 
  • April 3 - UPDATED! G/P/NC, Section/Credit Change, and Withdrawal deadline extended to April 3 at 4 p.m. EST. 
  • April 7 - Open enrollment for summer (details available at www.stonybrook.edu/summer). U4 senior enrollment begins April 6. 
  • April 6 - April 17 - Fall enrollment period. You are assigned an enrollment appointment date/time based upon seniority by cumulative credits. 

 

 


Please use caution when selecting the G/P/NC or withdrawal option. You should carefully review your list of courses on SOLAR to verify the choice was recorded accurately. Note that some courses do not allow the G/P/NC option. If you are retaking a course, you are not permitted to select the G/P/NC option for that course. Grades of P or NC do not satisfy DEC, SBC, major, or minor requirements. Please refer to the Undergraduate Bulletinand the G/P/NC video.  If you withdraw from a class(es), you will receive a W on your transcript, but must maintain at least 12 credits if you are a full-time student.
