The GENESIS mission is to develop a new paradigm for synthesis that accelerates the discovery of functional materials by integrating advanced in-situ diagnostics and data science tools to interrogate, predict, and control the pathways that govern synthesis and lead to new materials.
GENESIS investigator Allison Wustrow is lead author on THE top downloaded paper at Chemistry of Materials in 2021!
GENESIS graduate student researcher Gabrielle Kamm is one of 22 students selected from the SUNY-wide graduate enrollment of over 43K students to receive the inaugural Graduate Research Empowering and Accelerating Talent (GREAT) award. The GREAT award provides $5,000 to each student in flexible funds for research expenses, professional development and supplemental stipend support. The recipients have all won national recognition for their research from prestigious graduate fellowship programs sponsored by the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health.
