Information for Presenters

• If you require audio-visual services for your talk, please let us know in advance (before the beginning of your session the latest!). There is a projector in the room, as well as audio system. If you are planning to use your own laptop, make sure to bring any adapters/dongles that your computer requires. If for any reason you cannot bring your laptop/would prefer to use another computer, please let us know.
• Talks are 30 minutes, plus 10 minutes for questions/discussion.
• If you are presenting using handouts, we recommend bringing at least 50 copies.
• Posters should measure approximately 3ft x 4ft or 90cm x 120cm and have landscape orientation.
• If you need copying/printing services, please talk to us as early as possible after you arrive at Stony Brook. There is a FedEx location in the Stony Brook Library, but it may be crowded. Please consider printing ahead of time if at all possible.
• Wi-Fi access is available through the Stony Brook visitor network Wolfie-Net Guest or through eduroam (if your home university supports it). Please refer to these Wi-Fi instructions to get connected to Wolfie-Net Guest.
