Clinical Instructor - Pediatric Special Procedure/Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner

Required Qualifications

Licensed Pediatric or Family Practice Nurse Practitioner with Pediatric Critical Care Medicine experience and National Board Certification. Candidate must be PALS certified.

Preferred Qualifications

At least three years of experience in Pediatrics, with one year in Pediatric Critical Care. Acute Care Nurse Practitioner status is preferred.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Nurse Practitioner will work in collaboration with Pediatric Critical Care physicians and Pediatric Anesthesiologists. His/her responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assessment and diagnosis of pediatric patients; sedation of pediatric patients; monitoring of pediatric patients during intravenous infusions; post-sedation care; performing any needed procedures for which he/she is credentialed; PICU patient management; education/research.

Special Notes

This is a non-tenure track position.  FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.  Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.
