Required Qualifications

MD or equivalent American Board of Pathology Certification in Anatomic Pathology. Eligibility for NYS licensure. Completion of fellowship in Renal Pathology and strong diagnostic skills in surgical pathology. Capable of functioning independently as surgical pathologist. Strong written and verbal skills. Part time candidate will perform renal pathology only.

Preferred Qualifications

Fellowship trained in surgical pathology. Demonstration of scholarly contributions, research and teaching experience.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The selected candidate will participate in renal and surgical pathology and in the research and teaching missions of the Pathology department. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience and academic record (School of Medicine's Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure).

Special Notes

This is a non-tenure track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously.
