Assistant Professor – Diagnostic / Interventional Radiologist

Required Qualifications

MD (or Equivalent), NYS license, Board Eligible/Certification in Diagnostic Radiology, completion of an accredited Interventional Radiology Fellowship Program; Training in all areas of Plain Film Diagnostic/MRI/CT Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology Procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

Five (5) years’ experience, teaching, publications, strong interpersonal/communication skills, research, productivity; experience with all areas of interventional procedures.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Clinical: Clinical Radiologist proficient in Interventional Radiologic Procedures; Diagnostic Radiology, CT, MR, US, and Plain Film with rotational off-shift coverage and Northport VA Medical Center, Southampton Hospital, and John T. Mather Hospital Coverage.

Academic: Resident education and rotational resident conference responsibilities.

Research: Opportunities available encouraged participation.

Special Notes

This is a non-tenure track position.  FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.  Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.
