Assistant Professor/Associate Professor (2 Positions Available)
Required Qualifications
Position 2: PhD or equivalent and postdoctoral experience in neuroscience or related
discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
Position 2: The applicant should have demonstrated a track record of productive and
impactful research in molecular, cellular or systems neuroscience.
Responsibilities & Requirements
Position 1: The successful candidate will carry out research on brain function and
aging, will participate in the Department's educational mission of undergraduate,
graduate, and medical school teaching, and perform university and departmental service.
Position 2: The successful candidate will participate in the Department's educational
mission of undergraduate, graduate, and medical school teaching, carry out research
in neuroscience and perform university and departmental service.
Special Notes Tenure/Non-Tenure Track. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions
of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: Fall 2020.
