Vladimir Putin's War on Truth

Vladimir Kara-Murza, winner of the 2024 Pulitzer Prize 

Renowned Russian politician and journalist Vladimir Kara-Murza was jailed for "high treason" for denouncing the war in Ukraine, kept in solitary confinement, and released in a prisoner exchange in 2024. Kara-Murza won the Pulitzer Prize for Commentary for his columns written from his prison cell and published in The Washington Post.
