The speaker series began in March 2014 with a graduate student symposium, "Cognitive Science in the Arts and Humanities: Cross-Disciplinary Perspectives." Presentations came from a wide range of departments, including English, Cognitive Science, Neurobiology and Behavior, Linguistics, Philosophy, and Dance. Dr. Vera Tobin, Assistant Professor of Cognitive Science at Case Western Reserve University, delivered the keynote lecture.
