Call for Abstracts: SUNY AI Symposium at Stony Brook
Overview: The SUNY AI Symposium at Stony Brook is a two-day event bringing together leading
AI experts from across New York State and beyond. This symposium offers a dynamic
opportunity to explore the latest developments and wide-ranging applications that
will help define the next era of AI.
The SUNY AI Symposium at Stony Brookwill include a 90-minute poster session where students, faculty, and postdocs can share their research relevant
to artificial intelligence. Students, faculty, and postdocs are invited to submit
an abstract for consideration. The poster session segment of the symposium will be
held in honor of the Inauguration of Andrea Goldsmith, the State University of New
York at Stony Brook’s seventh President. Poster printing for all participants will
be covered by the Inauguration Planning Committee. SUNY students presenting posters
are also eligible for travel reimbursement. If your poster is selected for presentation,
you will be notified with additional information.
Eligibility
All students, faculty, and postdocs who are actively engaged in research relevant to the overall conference goals.
Requirements
- All abstracts must be submitted as a PDF file through the registration link.
- Abstracts are limited to no more than one page in length and must include: (1) Title of the research project; (2) A description of the work that will be presented; and (3) An explanation of the project’s relevance to artificial intelligence

Decision Notification Date: Monday, March 9, 2026
