ADA COMMITTEE RULES AND POLICY
- Address administrative and policy aspects of the Committee, including Chair selection process.
- to continue to make our Stony Brook campus a supportive and accessible environment for our students, faculty and staff with disabilities.
- to assist with resolving the need for a West Campus compliance plan, especially in light of the new/rehab construction.
- to resolve the “annoying” situations we experience each day by trying to improve accessibility in small ways.
- to include the Provost area’s participation in and support of this committee.
- to be aware of accessibility issues when designing and updating websites
