OUR MISSION
The Center for Civic Justice strives to provide all students with equal access to the democratic process: from voter education and registration, to voter organization and mobilization. With a core value of civic education and engagement, we provide tools for our students to feel empowered to advocate for themselves and their community through civic participation, volunteerism, and activism. Our operation’s food pantry offers direct application of our commitment to community engagement, providing students, staff, and faculty with resources to address food insecurity.

STRATEGIC PLAN
As we approach 2026, we look forward to identifying our next set of strategic priorities, and continuing to position Stony Brook University as a global leader in improving the human condition and creating a more civically just society.
