About

Shai Bejar earned his Master's in Technological Systems Management from the Department of Technology and Society.

As an international graduate student and Fulbright Scholar, he was interested in connecting his academic background in engineering, sustainability, and socio-technological systems with concrete professional opportunities beyond the classroom.

After joining ECLP in 2024, his first impression was that the program hosted a very practical and supportive space. It not only offered career advice, but also helped participants reflect on their strengths and goals, and translate academic experience into professional contexts.

Bejar now works at Globant on process optimization and contributing to complex transformation projects in the energy sector.

"ECLP helped me organize my career narrative more clearly. It gave me tools to explain my background across engineering, public sector work, sustainability, and technology in a way that made sense for employers. It also helped me approach networking and career exploration with more structure and confidence."

Favorite Part

"My favorite part was the group discussion. Hearing other graduate students share their doubts, goals, and career questions made the process feel less isolated. It was valuable to realize that many of us were navigating similar uncertainties, even if our disciplines were different."

Advice to Future Participants

"My advice would be to take the program seriously as a space for honest reflection, not only as a set of assignments. The more specific and open you are about your goals, concerns, and constraints, the more useful the experience becomes."
