Summer Undergraduate Stem Cell
Research Program

May 28 - August 2, 2013

Program for outstanding undergraduates who want to do Stem Cell Research with a Stony Brook faculty member.

Eligibility

Applicants must:	plan to be enrolled as a sophomore, junior or senior in the Fall of 2013
	have strong interest in pursuing stem cell research
	have a minimum G.P.A. of 3.3
	must be enrolled in a college or university in the U.S.

Awards
Awardees will receive a $3500 stipend, on-campus housing, $500 toward travel expenses plus $1000 for supplies for the laboratory in which they do their research.

Applications
Applications include a one page essay of the student's career goals, two letters of recommendation from faculty, and all official transcripts. Applications must be postmarked by February 16. A committee consisting of faculty members in the biological sciences will select students.
