Why Study Information Systems?
Offered by our Computer Science Department, the Information Systems major will train you to design, build, and implement effective computerized data processing and solution systems. We emphasize the design and implementation aspects of large-scale information systems as well as managerial and organizational issues. You can also customize your own specialization to include a more comprehensive understanding in areas such as Systems Administration, Network Administration, and Digital Media.

Successful applicants in this major will have earned outstanding grades in calculus and physics, and performed exceptionally well on the Math section of the SAT and/or ACT.
