Why Study Electrical Engineering?

In our Electrical Engineering major, you'll study everything from electronic circuits and control systems to robotics and automation. Our ABET-accredited program incorporates laboratory components to many course, so you'll have many hands-on experiences. You'll design, develop, and test systems and circuits, employ computers to analyze, model, and understand important concepts, and learn to solve engineering problems.

ADMISSION INFO:

Successful freshman applicants in this major will have earned outstanding grades in calculus and physics, and performed exceptionally well on the Math section of the SAT and/or ACT.
