Why Study Human Evolutionary Biology?

Discover how evolutionary forces have shaped who we are today. In our Human Evolutionary Biology major you'll explore the paleontological, morphological, and cultural transitions that occurred during the evolution of the human lineage. Our courses combine a broad training in the natural sciences along with a more specific application towards understanding the evolution of human morphology, behavior and genetics. The program is offered jointly by the Departments of Anthropology and of Ecology and Evolution.
