Alyssa Crofts, MA

Adjunct Lecturer

Alyssa Crofts has over ten years of experience primarily teaching public speaking. Prior to joining Stony Brook’s School of Communication & Journalism in 2021, she taught public speaking at Genesee Community College and SUNY Brockport. Aside from teaching, Alyssa works full time at Daemen University as an academic advisor with undeclared students and oversees the University’s Peer Mentor Program.

Alyssa earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communication from SUNY Brockport. Her passion is public speaking and is a member of Toastmasters an international public speaking organization.
