The Stony Brook Experience
Under the mentorship of Professor Anatoly Frenkel, Shuting researched single-atom catalysts and their role in CO₂ and CO conversion, collaborating with researchers at Brookhaven National Laboratory and institutions worldwide.
“Stony Brook University’s Materials Science and Engineering program was transformative both scientifically and personally. Access to world-class research facilities, interdisciplinary collaborations, and opportunities to teach and mentor helped me grow as a researcher and leader. The support of my mentors and peers prepared me to continue advancing scientific discovery as a postdoctoral researcher.”
Today, Shuting continues to build on her Stony Brook experience through her research and leadership at Lehigh University.
