Information for Academic Procession
Participation in the Academic Procession is by invitation only. RSVP and order regalia by Tuesday, March 10.
Invited participants include delegates, faculty, members of the Stony Brook Council, University Council, Executive Senate Committee and the Alumni Association Board.
Saturday, April 18, 2026 | Stony Brook Arena (West Campus)
10 am | Academic Procession Lineup, Pritchard Gym, Stony Brook Arena
11 am | Investiture Ceremony, Stony Brook Arena
Reception to follow, Stony Brook Union
Tickets
Tickets are not required for procession participants.
Guests are welcome to attend and should register for a General Admission ticket. Guests are not permitted in the robing and assembly area.
Academic regalia is requiredto participate in the procession. Rented regalia will be available at the assembly area and must be returned after the ceremony.
