Classroom Furniture Repair Program
Division
Campus Operations & Maintenance (COM)
Overview
Campus Operations and Maintenance (COM) handled the repair and maintenance of classroom furniture across the 120 registrar-controlled classrooms and lecture halls. This work includes addressing issues with loose and fixed desks, seating, tables, lecterns, and other classroom furnishings to ensure that each space remains safe, functional, and comfortable for daily academic use. COM also oversees strategic purchasing to replace discontinued or unrepairable inventory as annual budgets allow, helping maintain consistent standards and reliability across campus learning environments.
