Facilities & Services provides the planning, infrastructure, and operational support that enables Stony Brook University to function every day and grow for the future. The division oversees capital planning and construction, campus operations and maintenance, utilities and infrastructure systems, sustainability initiatives, and long-range physical strategy.

Guided by the Facilities Master Plan, Facilities & Services balances immediate operational needs with long-term investment, ensuring that academic, research, clinical, residential, and public-facing spaces remain safe, functional, and aligned with the university’s strategic priorities.
