Overview

Stony Brook University is advancing a campus-wide lighting retrofit at the Southampton Campus to improve energy efficiency, reduce operating costs, and enhance lighting quality across indoor and outdoor spaces.

The project will begin with a comprehensive assessment of existing lighting systems to identify opportunities for improvement and establish appropriate illumination levels throughout the campus. Based on the findings, remaining non-LED fixtures will be upgraded to energy-efficient LED technology.
