About Us

Stony Brook Esports is one of the top collegiate Esports programs across the nation. Built from the ground up as a student community club, Stony Brook Esports was transformed into a Varsity program in (date) and now operates within the Recreation & Wellness department to offer a competitive Varsity experience, associate Academy experience, and a wide variety of programming options for you and our Seawolf community. 

Stony Brook Esports competes in well-known titles such as League of Legends, Rocket League, Overwatch 2, Valorant, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. As a member institution of the National Association of Collegiate Esports, Division One Esports, and the National Esports Collegiate Conference, Stony Brook students partake in high quality competition, structured regulation, and unique national and local LAN opportunities. From the national stage to our very own Tabler Esports Facility, we equip our students with the means to communicate, coordinate, and execute. Over the past five years, Stony Brook Esports has traveled to Hawaii, NYC, Dallas, Texas, Kansas City, and taken home two national championships and numerous regional championships (see more about our accomplishments here) *insert hyperlink to accomplishments page over the word here*
